Ponderosa Pines of the Ochoco forest near Prineville, Oregon
OLC PRINEVILLE's HISTORY:
| Ochoco Lumber Company began operations in Prineville Oregon in 1932 cutting Ponderosa Pine. The company built and operated a large log mill and later built a small log mill. In about 2000 Ochoco closed its Prineville sawmill operations and focused on management of its other mills, timberlands and market development. |

Prineville is the home to Ochoco Lumber Company's corporate management
group. Timberlands, property and general management of Ochoco's
investments take place in Prineville, Oregon.
In addition Ochoco's general sales office is also located here. This office also serves as an information point for products produced, sold or traded by Ochoco Lumber Company. |
